Events

Bible Study- Every Thursday we have a Bible study led by our chaplain that's open to everyone. These are a great opportunity to connect with God together and prepare our hearts for sharing the gospel at our Thursday Night BBQ.

Worship Nights- After every Thursday Bible study we have a time of worship where we praise God for all of His glory.  Just like Bible study, this is open to everyone.

Thursday Night BBQ- At UCLA Thursday night is party night.  So part of our service to UCLA is to provide a safe place for people partying to get some food and sober up.  We cook burgers and hot dogs for them free of charge.  Our heart behind this is to show Jesus' love for people in a tangible way.  This is a great opportunity to have meaningful conversations with people and share the gospel.

Retreats- Every quarter we take a break from the business of school to get away and spend time with God and fellowship with each other.  We usually go camping, to a beach house, or a cabin in the mountains.  There is plenty of Bible study time, worship, and excellent home cooked food.

Founders Day- One day every February all of the AGO chapters come together to determine the direction and the goals God has for the Fraternity as a whole.  It is a great time to meet new people from different chapters and reconnect with friends you might not see as often.  And of course there is always food.

Pismo Football Tournament- Pismo is another multi-chapter gathering  up San Luis Obispo where we compete against each other in a football tournament.  Unlike Founders Day where it is just AGO, our sister Sorority ADX also attends this event.  This is by far one of the most fun events AGO has all year and shouldn't be missed.

Food Bank- This is one of our community service events where we go to the LA Food Banks and help them pack food for families in need throughout LA.

Philanthropies- Every fraternity and sorority hold philanthropies.  We try to attend as many as possible throughout the year.  They are usually sports like football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, etc.  Or they are food fundraisers with foods like pancakes or churros.  The money raised by these events are donated to an organization of the fraternity/sororities choice.
